Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration issued updated guidelines for the Visa on Arrival (VoA) programme effective January 2025. The changes affect over 90 eligible nationalities.
The primary change is the fee adjustment for the multiple-entry VoA for ASEAN nationals — it has been reclassified and must be applied through the e-VoA system at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
Extension remains at one extension per VoA for 30 additional days. Applicants must submit the extension request at least 7 days before expiry. Visa Bali recommends starting 10–14 days early.
