Layanan Visa & Imigrasi di Bali
The official temporary residence permit for foreigners employed by a legally registered Indonesian company. Valid 1–2 years, renewable.
What is KITAS?
KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas) is the Temporary Stay Permit required for any foreigner working legally in Indonesia. It is tied to a sponsoring Indonesian employer and must be renewed annually or biennially.
The process involves multiple government agencies — the Ministry of Manpower (IMTA), Directorate General of Immigration, and Disnaker. Our experienced team manages all submissions, appointments, and follow-ups on your behalf.
KITAS Application: Key Stages
Company Eligibility Check
We verify that your sponsor company holds a valid SIUP, NIB, and is registered with Disnaker as an authorised employer of foreign nationals.
IMTA Work Permit Application
We file the IMTA (Izin Menggunakan Tenaga Kerja Asing) application with the Ministry of Manpower online system. This is the primary work authorisation.
Telex Visa & Entry
Once IMTA is approved, we apply for a Telex Visa (limited stay visa) so you can enter Indonesia on the correct visa type for KITAS conversion.
Immigration Submission & KITAS Issuance
We submit the full dossier to Immigration, attend all appointments, and collect your KITAS card and MERP (Multiple Re-Entry Permit) upon approval.
STM / Police Report
Final step: you register at your local police station (STM) for address reporting, required by law for all KITAS holders. We guide you through this process.
